Zeolite should be added into the sand/borax reactor building fill matrix. Zeolite has strong adsorptive abilities and would help to filter radioactive particulate out of the escaping steam.
A string of 6" diameter drilling pipe should be hoisted above each steaming reactor building. Powerful in-line fans could suck the radioactive steam back into the condenser units, sequestering the radionuclides from the atmosphere. A large diameter hood could be fashioned for the end of the pipe to assist in the collection of the radioactive steam.
